Acnevent Forte Cream

Acnevent Forte Cream is only for external use. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only on the affected areas of the skin. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and cover the treated areas with clothing or use sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Drink plenty of water and use moisturizer as it may lead to dryness of mouth, lips, and eyes. It is advised not to have any cosmetic procedures during the treatment.

Use of Acnevent Forte Cream may lead to a few common side effects like dryness, peeling, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. Pregnant and breastfeeding should consult their doctor before using this medicine, to make sure it is safe for them.

Treatment of Acne

Acnevent Forte Cream is a combination of two medicines : Nadifloxacin and Mometasone. Nadifloxacin is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them. Mometasone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Acnevent Forte Cream is used for the treatment of acne.

Before you apply this medicine, wash the area with any medicated facewash and water and gently dry it with a towel.

Apply to all of the areas where your acne is present and not just to each acne.

Try to avoid getting it on the sensitive areas of your skin in or around your nostrils, your eyes, and your mouth.

Acnevent Forte Cream may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Therefore, it is best to apply it at night and wash it off in the morning. A sun protection cream can also help if you are out in the sun on bright days, even if it is cloudy.

If your skin becomes very dry, using a moisturizing cream (preferably a fragrance-free and water-based cream) might help. Do not use ointments or oil-rich creams, as these could clog your pores again.

Continue with the treatment as long as prescribed by your doctor. The most common reason for treatment failure is giving up too soon, thinking that the treatment is not working.
