AGA-DT Tablet

AGA-DT Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of the medicine should be taken as per prescription. An overdose of it may cause harm to your health. It is better to take the medicine at the same time each day and it must be swallowed as a whole. It may take some time for the medicine to act upon the symptoms, so it is important to take the medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed for better efficacy of the medicine.

This medicine is usually well tolerated. However, it may cause some mild sexual side effects such as low sexual drive, trouble getting and maintaining an erection (impotence), and decrease sperm count. Some people may also experience allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, and swelling of the lips or face. If you experience any of these side effects, consult your doctor without delay.

Before starting the treatment, it is important to tell your doctor if you are taking any medication for any health condition. Remember not to donate blood for six months after taking the last dose of this medicine.

Treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. AGA-DT Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

AGA-DT Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It blocks an enzyme which is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

If you miss a dose of AGA-DT Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor has prescribed AGA-DT Tablet to shrink the enlarged prostate and reduce the risk of urinary retention.

It may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of AGA-DT Tablet. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.

In Treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia

When your prostate gland becomes enlarged it can cause urinary problems such as difficulty passing urine and a need to go to the toilet frequently or urgently. It can also cause urine flow to be slower. If not treated, there is a risk that your urine flow will be completely blocked. AGA-DT Tablet works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate. So, it can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. However, it may take up to 6 months to notice the full benefit. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Driving:SAFE

AGA-DT Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

AGA-DT Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of AGA-DT Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:CAUTION

AGA-DT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of AGA-DT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of AGA-DT Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
