Ahlmide Eye Drop is used before eye examinations and to treat an eye condition called uveitis. It acts by enlarging the pupil of the eyes and helps the doctor visualize the eye more closely. It reduces redness and swelling in the eyes after cataract surgery.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Ahlmide Eye Drop is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions.
06What If You Miss A Dose?
If you miss a dose of Ahlmide Eye Drop, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Ahlmide Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.

10Drug Tips
Ahlmide Eye Drop enlarges the pupil for eye examination and is commonly used in adults.
It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) after cataract surgery.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
