Albamine 150mcg Tablet is also used to prevent migraine and hot flushes in women during menopause. This medicine can be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at the same time every day. You should always take this medicine as advised by the doctor and should never stop it without consulting the doctor. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel ill, but if you stop taking this medicine, your condition could get worse. This may lead to your blood pressure rising up again and increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. You should monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking this medicine.

Common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, headache, nausea, fatigue, dry mouth, constipation, insomnia. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you.

Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Albamine 150mcg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Albamine 150mcg Tablet is an alpha-2 agonist. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.

If you miss a dose of Albamine 150mcg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Albamine 150mcg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.

It may cause you to feel lightheaded especially when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension).  Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. 

It may cause dryness of eyes. Take caution while using contact lenses.

No, you should avoid taking alcohol during treatment with Albamine 150mcg Tablet. The use of alcohol while taking Albamine 150mcg Tablet may worsen the side effects and may make you feel more drowsy.

Albamine 150mcg Tablet may also be used in the treatment of dysmenorrhea (severely painful cramps during menstrual period), menopausal hot flashes. It also helps in alcohol and opiate (narcotic) withdrawal and smoking cessation. The use of Albamine 150mcg Tablet also treats Tourette’s syndrome which is characterized by the need to perform repeated motions or to repeat sounds or words. Albamine 150mcg Tablet is also used to diagnose pheochromocytoma (a tumor that develops on a gland near the kidneys and may cause high blood pressure and fast heart rate).

Albamine 150mcg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Albamine 150mcg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
