05How It Works
Alerzicet-Cold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine and Cetirizine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
06What If You Miss A Dose?
If you miss a dose of Alerzicet-Cold Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Alerzicet-Cold Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Alerzicet-Cold Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Alerzicet-Cold Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Alerzicet-Cold Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
10Drug Tips
Alerzicet-Cold Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
