It is best to take Amifru Plus Tablet in the morning along with food in order to avoid frequent urination at night time. For better results, it is suggested to take it at the same time everyday.  The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration are very common side effect of this medicine. It might lower down the level of calcium, sodium and magnesium in the blood. Hence, regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine. It might cause dizziness or tiredness, if happens rise slowly from sitting position or avoid driving.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease. It is generally safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Edema

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amifru Plus Tablet is to be taken with food.

Amifru Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Torasemide and Amiloride. Torasemide and amiloride. They act on different parts of your kidney to get remove extra water and certain electrolytes while maintaining the potassium balance in your body.

If you miss a dose of Amifru Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Amifru Plus Tablet helps removes excess water from your body.

Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate.

It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don’t drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.

To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.

It may cause excessive urine production, dehydration, and low electrolyte levels. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that doesn’t go away.

Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and the level of salts such as potassium and sodium in your blood while you’re taking this medication.

Breast feeding:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Amifru Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving:UNSAFE

Amifru Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:CAUTION

Amifru Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amifru Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Amifru Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver:CAUTION
