Amomira 25mg Tablet used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions like before/after surgery or motion sickness. It may also be used to treat allergic conditions such as rash, itching, and runny nose.

Amomira 25mg Tablet should be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms.  You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, you should never take a double dose. Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 7 days of treatment.

The most common side effects of this medicine include dry mouth, blur vision, headache, and feeling dizzy. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It makes skin more sensitive to sunlight. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing before going out.

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have glaucoma or have asthma issues, or have high blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is advised to avoid alcohol while on treatment.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amomira 25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Amomira 25mg Tablet is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Amomira 25mg Tablet works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms. It also works directly on several areas of the brain to prevent nausea/vomiting and help you feel more relaxed.

Q: What if you forget to take Amomira Tablet?
A: If you miss a dose of Amomira 25mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Amomira 25mg Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.

Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.

It may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Avoid exposing your skin to strong sunlight, use a sunscreen lotion or make sure your skin is protected with clothing.

Do not take it for longer than 7 days. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days, talk to your doctor.

Stop taking it at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.

Avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery as it may decrease alertness.

Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Amomira 25mg Tablet, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.

Amomira 25mg Tablet is antihistaminic drug and not a narcotic/opiate/pain killer. Patient should follow the advice of doctor regarding its use

Q. Can I take Amomira 25mg Tablet with Nyquil/ codeine and ibuprofen/ Tylenol/ oxycodone/ Benadryl/ Dayquil/ Zofran/codeine and Nyquil/Xanax?

Yes, but taking other medicines may alter the effects of Amomira 25mg Tablet. Always consult your doctor for the change of dose regimen or an alternative drug of choice that may strictly be required

Q. Does Amomira 25mg Tablet or Amomira 25mg Tablet DM make you sleepy/ get you high/make you tired?

Amomira 25mg Tablet may cause these side effects which are not serious. However, always consult your doctor if you experience any of these side effects.

Driving:UNSAFE

Amomira 25mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Amomira 25mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Amomira 25mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.However, caution is advised in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause excessive sleepiness in them.

Liver:CAUTION

Amomira 25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amomira 25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
