Anafortan Injection

Anafortan Injection is given by your doctor or nurse. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are palpitations, excessive thirst, dryness in mouth, reduced bronchial secretions, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), difficulty in urination, and constipation. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

Inform your doctor before taking Anafortan Injection if you are suffering from overactive thyroid, obstructive airway disease, or inflammation of the intestine (ulcerative colitis). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Abdominal cramp

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Anafortan Injection is an anticholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

If you miss a dose of Anafortan Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Anafortan Injection is given as an injection into veins by a healthcare professional.

Do not skip any dose and finish the complete course even if you feel better.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Anafortan Injection is used to relieve symptoms such as severe stomach pain, bloating, cramps, associated with various conditions such as painful periods, or menstrual cramps, abdominal pain caused by kidney stones, blockage of the urinary tract or bile duct.

Anafortan Injection is given during the active phase of labor to accelerate labor (when necessary) generally at 3cm of cervical dilatation. However, it should not be used during pregnancy unless prescribed by your doctor.

It is advisable not to take any medications without consulting your doctor first. Self-medication can be risky and should be avoided.

In Abdominal cramp

Anafortan Injection effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. This helps to treat abdominal cramps, as well as abdominal pain (or stomach pain), bloating and discomfort. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
