MOA
Aneph Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines: Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye.
What If
If you miss a dose of Aneph Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
Drug Tips
Aneph Eye Drop provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy.
It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
After applying Aneph Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
Avoid wearing contact lenses until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
