ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET should be taken on an empty stomach. It is best taken at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide the dose and the number of times each day you should take them. You should take the medicine as it is prescribed for you and keep taking it, even if you feel well. If you stop taking it suddenly your risk of an angina attack will increase. Lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this drug work better.

You can develop tolerance to this medicine over time, which means that the same dose becomes less effective. You have to stick to a really specific dosing schedule to prevent this from happening.

The most common side effects of this medicine include headache and lightheadedness. These may disappear once you have got used to the medicine. If you are worried, or the symptoms do not go away, let your doctor know. Some of these can be reduced by taking painkillers, drinking plenty of fluids, and avoiding alcohol. Alcohol may increase some side effects (dizziness, drowsiness, feeling light-headed, or fainting). Medical tests (such as blood pressure) may be required to monitor your progress and check for side effects.

ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels which decreases the oxygen demand of the heart and reduces its workload. It thus prevents/treats attacks of angina (chest pain).

If you miss a dose of ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Eat healthy (low-fat, high-fiber, low-sodium diet), quit smoking, increase your physical activity, watch your weight and reduce stress.

ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires concentration until you know how it affects you.

Do not consume alcohol while taking ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET as it may cause increased dizziness.

It may cause headaches which usually go away after a few days of continued treatment. Inform your doctor if it persists.

You may develop tolerance to ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET with time, meaning that the same dose may be less effective next time. Follow the prescribed dosing schedule to avoid this.

Stop taking medications (prescribed for erectile dysfunction) like sildenafil or tadalafil while on treatment with ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET as it may cause low blood pressure.

Q. Can I take sildenafil while taking ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET?

No, you should not take sildenafil along with ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET. Both these medicines lower blood pressure and belong to the same class. Taking these two medicines together may cause significant decrease in blood pressure which can cause fainting or even a heart attack. Along with this, avoid taking other medicines which belong to the same class such as vardenafil and tadalafil.

Driving:UNSAFE

ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease.

Liver:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of ANZIDIN 10MG TABLET may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
