This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Apderm Cream is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.

Apderm Cream is used to treat different inflammatory and allergic conditions including arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, ulcerative colitis which affect the skin, blood, eyes, lungs, stomach, and nervous system. It works by lowering your immune system’s response to these conditions thereby reducing symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching and other allergic-type reactions.This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor’s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.

Apderm Cream helps relieve symptoms of eye infections such as redness, swelling, itching and watering of eyes. This medicine works by decreasing the production of certain chemicals that cause inflammation of the eyes. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor.

It should be applied to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.

Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.

Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas.

Do not apply to broken, diseased, infected, inflamed or irritated skin, or to open wounds.

Inform your doctor if notice application site dryness, skin rash, and burning sensation.
