Azunate 100mg Tablet

Azunate 100mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with food, preferably at a fixed time. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Some people may experience a headache, weakness, and loss of appetite, as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. You may be monitored with blood tests once a week for 4 weeks to detect the presence of malarial parasites.

Malaria

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azunate 100mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Azunate 100mg Tablet is an antiparasitic medication. It works by producing harmful chemicals (free radicals) within the malarial parasite, thereby killing it.

If you miss a dose of Azunate 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Azunate 100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of malaria.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Azunate 100mg Tablet.

Do not drive or operate machinery after taking it because you may feel sleepy.

Azunate 100mg Tablet should be taken with food or drinks enriched with fat such as milk.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration.

Do not take this medicine if you are in the first 3 months of pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding.

Inform your doctor if you notice flu-like symptoms such as chills, fever, muscle pains and any changes in a heartbeat.

You may be asked for a regular blood test once a week while taking this medicine.

No, do not stop taking Azunate 100mg Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you are feeling better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. Therefore, for better and complete treatment, it is advised to continue your treatment for the prescribed duration.

Azunate 100mg Tablet is an antimalarial medicine and is used to treat malaria, a serious or life-threatening illness that is spread by a parasite that enters the human body by the bite of infected mosquitoes. It kills the infection-causing parasite and stops the further spread of the infection. Take it only as prescribed and refrain from taking any other medicines along with this medicine (unless advised by the doctor) as they may affect the absorption of this medicine. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
