Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines. It is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps to relax the muscles of the bladder and prostate gland thereby relieving pain and irritation. It also helps to control the urge to urinate.

Description
Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It is best taken with food. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.
Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, constipation, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), ejaculation disorder. If you experienced any of these side effects that do not go away or get worse, let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.

How To Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule is to be taken with food.
MOA
Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Tolterodine which relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker while Tolterodine is an antimuscarinic. They work by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.
What If
If you miss a dose of Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Drug Tips
Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule helps in relieving symptoms of an enlarged prostate. It does not decrease the size of prostate.
Take it with food, preferably at the same times each day.
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms.
Dry mouth, dry eyes, and constipation may occur as a side effect. Maintain good oral hygiene, drink water frequently, chew sugarless gum, and wear contact lenses with caution.
Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule may cause dizziness or blurring of vision. Don’t drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
