Beclate C Cream is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin), which treats skin infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of the both bacteria and fungi.

You have been prescribed Beclate C Cream for the treatment of skin infections.
It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
If you think the area of skin you are treating has become more irritated and infected, you should stop using Beclate C Cream and consult your doctor.
