This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Betsalic MF Gel is a combination of four medicines: Clobetasol, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Urea which treat eczema and psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Urea are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. They also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.

If you miss a dose of Betsalic MF Gel, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

In Eczema

Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Betsalic MF Gel moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It also reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply Betsalic MF Gel 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.

In Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Betsalic MF Gel helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It also moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Betsalic MF Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Betsalic MF Gel is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Betsalic MF Gel is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.

Don’t cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

After you have applied Betsalic MF Gel, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).

Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment.

Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.
