BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of four medicines, used to treat mouth ulcers. It also reduces the pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation of the ulcers.

BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel should be used as directed by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only in the mouth with clean hands. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, rashes, etc., you should consult the doctor immediately.

BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of antimicrobials and pain relievers. Tannic acid inhibits the growth of certain bacteria and the formation of dental plaque biofilm, protects the periodontal membrane, prevents the surface demineralization of enamel and promotes the re-mineralization of the enamel. Choline salicylate blocks the release of certain chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Cetrimide works as an antiseptic. Lidocaine interrupts the transfer of pain signals from a wound to the brain.

Q: What if you forget to take Bifolate Dental Gel?
A: If you miss a dose of BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel.

Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps), which can worsen the pain and stinging.
