Blisderms Ointment is a combination medicine that is used to treat eczema and psoriasis. It provides relief from redness, itching and swelling. It helps in softening the skin.

Blisderms Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Halobetasol and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Halobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Halobetasol into the skin.

Q: What if you forget to take Blisderms Ointment?
A: If you miss a dose of Blisderms Ointment, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Blisderms Ointment is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.

Don’t cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

After you have applied Blisderms Ointment, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).

Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.

Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.

In Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Blisderms Ointment helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Blisderms Ointment. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.
