Broact Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Use of this medicine may cause eye irritation, eye discomfort, and burning sensation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
05How It Works
Broact Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Bromfenac and Moxifloxacin which treat eye infections. Bromfenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves.

Broact Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial infection of the eyes such as conjunctivitis or pink eye. It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching or irritation in the eyes. Use it 2-3 times a day for atleast a week. Your symptoms might improve after using Broact Eye Drop. However, make sure to complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

10Drug Tips
You have been prescribed Broact Eye Drop for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye.
Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
Wash your hands first before applying Broact Eye Drop. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up.
Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this.
Along with using Broact Eye Drop, give warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Washing your hands regularly (particularly after touching your eyes) and not sharing towels or pillows will help to prevent the infection from spreading.
Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the medication.
