Byloza Tablet can be taken one hour before or two hours after food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor’s advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Remember dosage is decided on the basis of the type of medicine (tablet or syrup ), age and present medical condition of the person. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. If you do not observe any improvement in the symptoms, consult with the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include headache and drowsiness. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Generally, it is advised to drink plenty of fluids while on treatment with this medicine. To overcome dizziness, avoid driving or attention-seeking activities until you know how the medicine affects you.

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.  You must avoid fruit juice before taking the medicine.

Treatment of Allergic conditions

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Byloza Tablet is to be taken with food.

Byloza Tablet is an antiallergic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

If you miss a dose of Byloza Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor has prescribed Byloza Tablet to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes.

As compared to other similar medications, it is much less likely to make you feel sleepy.

Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness.

Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.

Stop taking Byloza Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.

Byloza Tablet is an antihistamine that is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, itchy nose, nasal secretion, nasal congestion, and red streaming eyes) and other forms of allergic conditions. It can also be used to treat itchy skin rashes (wheals or urticaria).

The effects of this medicine may be noticed as early as one hour after taking and last approximately 24 hours.

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet (20 mg) taken by mouth, once a day. It should be taken with water on an empty stomach; one hour before eating or two hours after eating for the best effect. Do not self-medicate and always consult your doctor. Q. Can I take antacids while taking Byloza Tablet?

It is advisable to avoid taking antacids 30 minutes before or after taking this medicine. It can make it harder for your body to absorb this medicine.

Yes, headache is a common side-effect of this medicine. Take rest, drink plenty of water and ask your doctor to recommend a suitable painkiller. If the headaches continue, let your doctor know.

Q. Does Byloza Tablet make you drowsy?

Although Byloza Tablet is a non-drowsy antihistamine; however, it can still cause drowsiness in a few people. Make sure your reactions are normal before you drive, or before using tools or machines.

Q. Should I avoid any foods, drinks while taking Byloza Tablet?

Avoid drinking fruit juices along with Byloza Tablet as this may affect the absorption of this medicine.
