C Fungin 50mg Injection is given as a slow drip into vein (IV infusion) under the supervision of a doctor.

Your doctor may check your liver function regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop abdominal pain, loss of appetite, darkened urine or yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice).

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

C Fungin 50mg Injection targets an essential component of the outermost layer (cell wall) of the fungus, called beta-(1,3)-D-glucan. This component is present in the Aspergillus species and Candida species but not present in mammalian cells. C Fungin 50mg Injection stops the synthesis of this component and this kills the fungus, inhibits further growth, thereby clearing the infection.

C Fungin 50mg Injection works by killing the fungi which can cause serious infections. It is given by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. It usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the fungi and yeast causing the infection are killed and do not become resistant.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
