Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet is used for the treatment of a high level of prolactin. It is also helpful in stopping breast milk production in cases of stillbirth, abortion, or miscarriage.
Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor’s advice. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you take it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, headache, fatigue, depression, dizziness, and low blood pressure. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Dizziness may occur after using Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet; avoid driving or rising suddenly from a sitting or lying position.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had high blood pressure after birth or had heart disease. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet is a dopamine agonist that works by decreasing the release of prolactin, a hormone that stimulates breast milk production. This stops the production of breast milk in case of stillbirth, abortion, or miscarriage.

Q: What if you forget to take Cabrolix Tablet?
A: If you miss a dose of Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Breast feeding:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet is usually not used during breastfeeding because it suppresses lactation.
Driving:UNSAFE
Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
There is limited information available on the use of Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver:CAUTION

Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet is used to treat conditions such as infertility or abnormal production of breast milk (galactorrhea) caused due to excess production of a natural hormone called prolactin.
To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
Consider taking it with or after food if you experience side effects such as nausea or indigestion.
Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration, as Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure may be advised during treatment with Cabrolix 0.5 Tablet.
