Calsid Tablet is a nutritional supplement used in the treatment of calcium deficiency. It is prescribed when your diet alone cannot provide the necessary calcium your body needs. It increases the absorption of calcium and helps to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels.

Calsid Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. Take it regularly at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not take it more than or longer than prescribed by the doctor, as that may cause harmful effects.It may cause constipation and upset stomach in some people. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Calsid Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Calsid Tablet is a combination of two nutritional supplements: Calcium and Vitamin D3. Calcium is added as a dietary supplement when the amount of calcium taken in the diet is not enough. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D. It raises vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from food.

If you miss a dose of Calsid Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, or if you have ever had kidney stones.

Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.

Inform your doctor if you are taking an iron supplement, as the absorption rate might be affected.

Along with taking Calsid Tablet, maintain a healthy lifestyle, include calcium-rich food in your diet, exercise (regular weight-bearing exercise) with your doctor’s advice.
