Cebran Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin and Boric Acid. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacterial cells in the eye/ear from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Boric Acid is an antiseptic which cleans out the eye/ear and relieves irritation.
If you miss a dose of Cebran Eye/Ear Drops, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
Your doctor has prescribed Cebran Eye/Ear Drops to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye/ear, to avoid contamination.
Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven’t started to improve within two days of starting treatment, if they get worse during treatment or if you get another eye /ear infection.
