Cinapath 30mg Tablet

Cinapath 30mg Tablet is used to treat high calcium levels in the blood and hyperparathyroidism. It works by controlling the levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcium, and phosphorus in your body.

Cinapath 30mg Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It best taken with a meal or shortly after a meal. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose and how often you should take them. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not stop taking the medicine even if you feel better unless the doctor tells you so.

The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, rash, muscle pain, diarrhea, hypertension, dizziness, chest pain, and loss of appetite. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects do not go away with time or get worse, or if you experienced any other symptoms which you think are caused by this medicine.

Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any problems with your heart, liver, or ever had seizures (fits or convulsions). You should also tell your doctor all the other medications you are taking. If you have low levels of calcium in your body, you should not take this medicine. Your doctor may monitor your blood calcium level while on treatment with this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should ask their doctors’ advice before taking this medicine.

Q. Can Cinapath 30mg Tablet cause diarrhea?

Yes, Cinapath 30mg Tablet can cause diarrhea in patients during treatment. This medicine may cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea as common side effects. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any such side effects.

Q. Does the Cinapath 30mg Tablet contains lactose?

Sometimes lactose is used while preparing Cinapath 30mg Tablet. Hence, before starting the medication inform your doctor if you have been diagnosed with any sugar intolerance like lactose intolerance.

Cinapath 30mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:UNSAFE

Cinapath 30mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Dizziness and seizures have been reported by patients taking Cinapath 30mg Tablet. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Cinapath 30mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Cinapath 30mg Tablet is recommended.

Liver:CAUTION

Cinapath 30mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cinapath 30mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
