Ciphmg 150IU Injection is used in the treatment of infertility in women. It is also helpful in the treatment of male hypogonadism (delayed puberty, and low sperm count). It works by releasing the eggs from the ovary in women and by increasing the testosterone level in men.

Ciphmg 150IU Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. Your doctor will decide the right time to take the injection, so always follow your doctor’s advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.

The most common side effects of this medicine include injection site pain, headache, fatigue and depression. If these bother you, or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Male might notice acne, or sweating and  deepening of voice. Some side effects may mean you should inform your doctor immediately include dizziness, pelvic pain, faint, abdominal pain, and trouble breathing.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had heart disease, or had ovarian cyst or had thyroid gland disorder. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should avoid alcohol or have to follow doctor advice related to diet while taking this medicine.

Ciphmg 150IU Injection is a mixture of hormones. It works by facilitating the maturation of follicles (which contain eggs) in the ovaries. This helps treat female infertility due to improper egg production (anovulatory infertility).

Q: What if you forget to take this medicine?
A:

Ciphmg 150IU Injection stimulates the production of eggs in women having treatment for infertility.

Your doctor may prescribe more than one medicine as part of a pregnancy plan.

It may also be used to stimulate sperm formation in men.

The injection is administered under the skin. Follow the recommended dosage and monitoring schedules to minimise the possibility of ovarian hyperstimulation.

Inform your doctor immediately if you have severe pelvic pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sudden weight gain, trouble breathing, or decreased or no urination during treatment, as these could be symptoms of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).

Do not use Ciphmg 150IU Injection if you are already pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pregnancy following treatment with Ciphmg 150IU Injection is more likely to result in a multiple pregnancy (twins or more) than if you had conceived naturally.

Ciphmg 150IU Injection helps in the normal development of an egg in a woman’s ovary (female reproductive organ) and stimulates the release of a healthy, matured egg. This helps to treat infertility in women and increases the chance of a successful pregnancy. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. You should use the medicine as prescribed for it to be effective.
