Clinziv Vaginal Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination medicine that is used for the syndromic treatment of vaginal discharge. It fights against infection by stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms. It also prevents the further spread of the infection.

Clinziv Vaginal Soft Gelatin Capsule is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie on your back and gently insert the capsule into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label.

Clinziv Vaginal Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Clindamycin, Clotrimazole, and Tinidazole, which treats vaginal infections. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA.

If you miss a dose of Clinziv Vaginal Soft Gelatin Capsule, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Clinziv Vaginal Soft Gelatin Capsule is inserted into the vagina using an applicator, usually at night before going to bed.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Avoid contact with your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

It can damage condoms and diaphragms and make them ineffective at preventing pregnancy. Ask your doctor about other suitable methods of preventing pregnancy.
