Cobal-F Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of anemia. It helps in the growth and development of body and replenishes the body’s stores of important nutrients.

Cobal-F Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Depending on the severity of your underlying illness, your doctor will decide the precise dose. Inform your doctor if you are also taking other medications containing paracetamol to avoid an overdose.   This is usually a safe medicine. However, inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine.

Nutritional deficiencies

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cobal-F Tablet is to be taken with food.

Alcohol:UNSAFE

Consuming alcohol while taking Cobal-F Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Cobal-F Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Cobal-F Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving:SAFE

Cobal-F Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Cobal-F Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobal-F Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Cobal-F Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobal-F Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
