Defcort TM Capsule PR may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It is best taken with food. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as runny nose, ejaculation disorders, and dizziness. If you experienced any of these side effects that do not go away or get worse, let your doctor know. 05How It Works
Defcort TM Capsule PR is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Deflazacort. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Deflazacort is a steroid medicine. It works by reducing inflammation (swelling) in the kidneys to promote the passage of the stones through urine.
06What If You Miss A Dose?
If you miss a dose of Defcort TM Capsule PR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
