Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule should be taken by mouth with or without food. This medicine is given for a long time and takes a few months to show its effects. Thus, it is important to take it as advised by the doctor and complete the full course of treatment.
Common side effects of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule include low sexual drive, ejaculation disorder, breast enlargement, and breast tenderness. If any of these side effects bother you, consult your doctor for guidance.
It is advised not to donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule. Let your doctor know if you have any other preexisting medical conditions before using this medicine. Let your doctor also know if you have a history of allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is not indicated for use in women.

Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It blocks an enzyme that is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.
06What If You Miss A Dose?
Q: What if you forget to take Dutafast Capsule?
A: If you miss a dose of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is not indicated for use in women.
Driving:SAFE
Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver:CAUTION
Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.
Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects, such as low sexual drive.
Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutafast 0.5mg Capsule.
