Dutajoy Tablet is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It shrinks the size of the enlarged prostate gland to relieve symptoms like pain and difficulty in passing urine.

Dutajoy Tablet should be taken by mouth with or without food. This medicine is given for a long time and takes a few months to show its effects. Thus, it is important to take it as advised by the doctor and complete the full course of treatment.

Common side effects of Dutajoy Tablet include low sexual drive, ejaculation disorder, breast enlargement, and breast tenderness. If any of these side effects bother you, consult your doctor for guidance.

It is advised not to donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutajoy Tablet. Let your doctor know if you have any other preexisting medical conditions before using this medicine. Let your doctor also know if you have a history of allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Dutajoy Tablet is not indicated for use in women.

Dutajoy Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It blocks an enzyme that is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

Q: What if you forget to take Dutajoy Tablet?
A: If you miss a dose of Dutajoy Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Dutajoy Tablet may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of Dutajoy Tablet. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.

Dutajoy Tablet is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects, such as low sexual drive.

Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutajoy Tablet.

Dutajoy Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor’s advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding:UNSAFE

Dutajoy Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.Dutajoy Tablet is not indicated for use in women.

Driving:SAFE

Dutajoy Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Dutajoy Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dutajoy Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:CAUTION

Dutajoy Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dutajoy Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Dutajoy Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
