Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet is a female sex hormone (estrogen). It is a part of female hormone replacement therapy which helps in treating estrogen deficiency symptoms like hot flushes (red and warm face) and vaginal dryness.

In some cases, Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet is also used to treat breast cancer and prostate cancer along with other anticancer medicines. It is to be taken at a fixed time(s) daily. The dose and duration will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any dose and finish the full course of treatment. The treatment should not be stopped abruptly without consulting your doctor as this may affect the potency of this medicine.

The most common side effects of this HRT are headaches, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, abdominal cramps or bloating, nausea, vomiting, and hair loss. Some of the warning signs and symptoms that need immediate medical attention are breast lumps, unusual vaginal bleeding, dizziness and faintness, severe headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, pains in your legs, etc.

Before taking this medicine, it is important to tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines for the same disease or other diseases. Before you initiate with this HRT, you must consult the doctor if you have a history of unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should tell your doctor before taking this medicine. Your doctor may suggest you some diagnostic or laboratory tests to know the effects and side effects of this medicine on your body.

Prevention of Post menopausal osteoporosis

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet is a mixture of estrogens (female sex hormone). In women who are undergoing or have attained menopause, it prevents symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings. It also prevents the bones from becoming porous and fragile (osteoporosis).

Q: What if you forget to take Esqauz Tablet?
A: If you miss a dose of Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You have been prescribed Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet as a part of hormone replacement therapy to relieve symptoms of menopause.

It may also be used for preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures.

Take it at the same time everyday to help you remember to take it.

Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual vaginal bleeding or spotting, abnormal vaginal discharge or vaginal discomfort while taking Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet.

It may increase the risk of breast cancer. Have regular breast examinations.

Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, or changes in vision. These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.

Q. What is Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet and what is it used for?

Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet contains a mixture of estrogens (a female sex hormone). It helps in treating estrogen deficiency symptoms like hot flushes (red and warm face), vaginal dryness in women.  It is also used to prevent osteoporosis (thinning and weakening of bone) in postmenopausal women, who are at high risk of fractures and can not take other preventive medicines for osteoporosis.

Q. When and how to take Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet?

Take Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet as per the advise by your doctor. However, you must try to take Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet tablet at the same time of each day, to ensure the consistent levels of medicine in your body.

Q. What if I miss to take Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet?

If you miss a dose, you should take it as soon as possible. If the dose was missed by more than 12 hours, you should not take the missed dose and simply continue the usual dosing schedule.

Q. What are the most common side effects which I may experience while taking Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet?

The common side effects associated with Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet are lower abdominal pain, periods pain, breast tenderness, endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of uterus lining) and vaginal discharge. Most of these symptoms are temporary. However, if they persist, check with your doctor as soon as possible.

In Prevention of Post menopausal osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a common condition that weakens bones, making them fragile and more likely to break. It often occurs in women after menopause (end of a woman’s menstrual cycles) and is known as post-menopausal osteoporosis. Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet helps to keep your bones strong and healthy and reduces the risk of osteoporosis. It also helps maintain bone density and reduces your risk of bone fracture. You should use this medicine as it is prescribed, and for as long as it is prescribed by your doctor.

Pregnancy:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Information regarding the use of Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

It is not known whether Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney:UNSAFE

Esqauz 0.625mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:UNSAFE
