You can take Etamyl TX 250mg/250mg Tablet at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by the doctor, and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Remember to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn’t be stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor.
Common side effects of Etamyl TX 250mg/250mg Tablet include nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal (bone, muscle, or joint) pain. It may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine, as it may help to prevent dehydration. It works by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots. It also helps control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).

10Drug Tips
Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy food to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
If you get diarrhea while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately.
Along with taking Etamyl TX 250mg/250mg Tablet, you can use a heating pad or try gentle massage and relaxation techniques to get relief during periods.
Inform your doctor if there is no improvement in your bleeding after using this medicine for three consecutive periods.
