If you miss a dose of Fostitol Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Fostitol Syrup is prescribed for short-term relief from constipation.
It should preferably be taken at bedtime as it requires 6 to 8 hours to show effect.
