Each dose is administered intramuscularly, usually in the upper arm or thigh. The most common side effects of this medicine include injection site reactions (such as pain, swelling, or redness ), headache, fever, nausea, dizziness, tiredness. These reactions are usually temporary and subside within a few days. To cope with these side effects, individuals can take over-the-counter pain relievers if necessary, and rest as needed. 10Drug Tips
Gardasil 9 Injection does not remove the need for screening for cervical, vulvar, vaginal, anal, and certain head and neck cancers, such as throat and back of mouth cancers; women should still get routine cervical cancer screening.
Gardasil 9 Injection does not protect the person getting Gardasil 9 Injection from a disease that is caused by other types of HPV, other viruses or bacteria.
It does not treat HPV infection.
It may not fully protect each person who gets it.
Inform your doctor if you might have had an allergic reaction to a previous dose of Gardasil 9 Injection.
Tell your doctor if you take medicines that affect the immune system.
