Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the maximum benefit from it. Keep taking it as recommended by your doctor and complete the dose even if you feel better. If you stop, your symptoms may get worse.

Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Talk to your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away with time. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms.

To make sure the medicine is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult with their doctors before taking the medicine.

Treatment of Gout

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet reduces inflammation which causes pain, swelling and other symptoms of gout.

If you miss a dose of Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet is used for the treatment and prevention of gout.

It interacts with many different medicines. Inform your doctor about all the medications that you are taking.

Inform your doctor if you have serious nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have tingling in your fingers or toe.

It can lower your body’s ability to make new blood cells. Inform your doctor know if you have frequent bleeding, bruising, fevers, or if you are always tired.

Do not take Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet if you have severe liver disease, kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Make appropriate lifestyle changes like losing weight (if you are overweight), eating a healthy diet and avoiding alcohol or sugar-sweetened drinks to get maximum benefit.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Breast feeding:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving:UNSAFE

Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:CAUTION

Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet should preferably be avoided if you have serious kidney disease.

Liver:CAUTION

Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gountnil 0.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, close monitoring is recommended for patients with mild to moderate liver disease also but dose adjustment is not necessary.
