Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection is a combination of two medicines used in reconstructive surgeries, such as facial rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, facial volume restoration, and lip augmentation. This medication helps enhance one’s appearance and at the same time reduces the pain during the treatment process.

Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection is generally given by a doctor or nurse in a clinical setting; do not self-administer this medicine at home. The dose and duration of the treatment will be decided by the doctor. Follow your doctor’s instructions to get the most benefits from this medicine.

Common side effects of this medicine are injection site reactions (such as pain, redness, or swelling), asymmetry or irregularities, nodule formation, etc. If you experience any of these side effects or other symptoms on receiving the injection, let your doctor know as they may be able to help to reduce these effects.

Do not use Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection if you have a known history of allergy to any of the ingredients of this medicine. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin on our face begin to thin. This leads to volume loss on the face and causes a sunken or sagging appearance, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thinning of lips. Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection contains hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. Hyaluronic acid is a type of temporary dermal filler. It attracts water and, in turn, hydrates the skin. It reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and facial folds and provides structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips. Lidocaine reduces pain and discomfort during and after an injection is given.

A: If you miss a dose of Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection, consult your doctor.

Before using Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection, inform your doctor if you are undergoing any immunosuppressive therapy.

Keep the treatment areas clean. If there is a skin infection, then treatment needs to be postponed until the infection subsides.

Patients who take blood thinners (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, certain herbal medications) should stop them two weeks prior to injection with the approval of their doctor.

Before using Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection, inform your doctor if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection.

Juvederm Volite 12.5mg/3mg Injection is not recommended for patients who have: a. Blood-clotting problems b. Active facial or oral herpes infection c. Infection in the treatment area d. Uncontrolled diabetes e. Allergy to injectable hyaluronic acid f. Are pregnant or breastfeeding
