This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
If you miss a dose of Larinate 100 Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and a healthy diet while taking the medicine.
It may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how the medicine affects you.
Larinate 100 Kit should be taken with food or drinks enriched with fat such as milk.
Inform your doctor if you have anemia.
Inform your doctor if you notice flu-like symptoms such as chills, fever, muscle pains, and any changes in a heartbeat.
You may be asked for a regular blood test once a week while taking this medicine.
