Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps relax the muscle of the urinary bladder and prostate gland. This way it helps relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine, nighttime urination, and sudden urge to urinate.

Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly. Take it for as long as the doctor has prescribed for maximum benefits.The most common side effects of this medicine include ejaculation disorders, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nasal congestion, orthostatic hypotension, and cognitive disorders. If you experience any such side effects, ask your doctor about ways of reducing or preventing them.Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, liver, or kidney disease. Treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silodosin and Solifenacin. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, so urine is passed more easily. Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder to prevent frequent, urgent, or uncontrolled urination.

If you miss a dose of Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You might feel better within hours or days of starting the treatment. The full effect is usually seen within 2 weeks.

Drinks containing caffeine (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cola) may make your symptoms worse. This is because caffeine is a natural diuretic and will make you want to pass urine frequently. If you drink a lot of caffeine, consider switching to decaffeinated alternatives.

If you are scheduled to undergo eye surgery due to a cataract or glaucoma, inform your eye doctor that you are taking this medicine.

Avoid the intake of excess fluid towards the bedtime since your sleep might get disturbed by the desire to get up and go to the toilet.

Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is not indicated in women.

Driving:UNSAFE

Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:CAUTION

Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:CAUTION
