Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule is a combination of four nutritional supplements:Methylcobalamin, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid which replenish the body’s stores of important nutrients.

Q: What if you forget to take Mecofol-Plus Capsule?
A: If you miss a dose of Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule is used to treat certain types of long-lasting pain caused by damage to nerves as well as to fulfill your nutritional requirements.

Inform your doctor if you are taking any other pain-relieving medicines.

Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.

Along with taking this medicine, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain.

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Information regarding the use of Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:SAFE

Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Mecofol-Plus NF Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
