05How It Works
Nabota 100IU Injection is a protein made by a type of bacteria (Clostridium botulinum type A). It works by blocking the release of a chemical (acetylcholine) which normally cause the muscle to contract. This temporarily weakens nerve activity in the muscles and helps reduce abnormal muscle contractions.

Nabota 100IU Injection is used in adults to treat muscle spasms around the eyes, in the face, neck, arm, shoulders, and leg. It is also used in children with cerebral palsy (aged two years or older), to treat muscle spasms in the legs, to improve their walking. It also effectively relieves muscle spasms in the arms of the affected children. It stops the abnormal muscle contractions called spasms by stopping the release of a chemical which acts between the nerves and muscles that causes muscle contraction. This helps to reduce the spasms and provides relief. In this way, it improves the quality of life. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered.

Nabota 100IU Injection prevents headaches in people with chronic migraines and treats various other problems such as muscle spasms and wrinkles.
It can prevent migraines before they even start.
It may cause swallowing, speaking, or breathing problems. Inform your doctor if you develop trouble swallowing, slurred speech, loss of bladder control, muscle weakness or breathing difficulties.
It may cause dizziness. Don’t drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
