Notif 1000mg Injection is an antibiotic which stops the growth of bacteria. It does so by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. This does not directly kill the bacteria, but prevents them from increasing in numbers, and eventually clears up the infection.

Notif 1000mg Injection works by killing bacteria which can cause serious infections. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as infections of the lungs (pneumonia) and urinary tract. It is given by a doctor or nurse into a vein and should not be self-administered. Consuming alcohol while taking Notif 1000mg Injection may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Driving:UNSAFE
Notif 1000mg Injection may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Notif 1000mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Notif 1000mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
There is limited information available on the use of Notif 1000mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
10Drug Tips
Your doctor has prescribed Notif 1000mg Injection to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
The injection may be given into a muscle (intramuscularly) or into a vein (intravenously).
Your doctor may get blood tests done to check your blood cells before starting treatment and regularly thereafter.
Do not use Notif 1000mg Injection if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease.
