Ocan Ear Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. You can help the medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.

It is generally well-tolerated with little or no side effects. However, it may cause a burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness immediately following application. These side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration.

Although medicines used on the ear are not normally affected by other medicines, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicine to be safe. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask the advice of your doctor before using the medicine.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.

Ocan Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Beclometasone and Clotrimazole which treat ear infections. Beclometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi in the ear by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.

If you miss a dose of Ocan Ear Drop, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You have been prescribed Ocan Ear Drop for the treatment of fungal skin infections.

It is for use on skin only. Do not use it in your eyes, mouth, or vagina. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.

Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

If you think the area of skin you are treating has become more irritated and infected, you should stop using Ocan Ear Drop and consult your doctor.

Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if the treated skin area does not improve after 2 weeks of treatment.
