Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

If you miss a dose of Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT is a corticosteroid. In addition to the many other benefits, it can be used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions. This medicine works by reducing the inflammation associated with allergies. It is a highly effective medicine. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor to get most benefit from it.

This means you can carry out your daily activities more easily and more confidently.It may take a few weeks for this medicine to show full effects. Keep taking it regularly as prescribed even if you do not have any symptoms (this means it is working). Do not stop taking it unless your doctor advises you to, otherwise, you are more likely to suffer from symptoms. This medicine will not stop an asthma attack that has already started.

Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor.

In Treatment of Nephrotic syndrome

Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder that causes your body to pass too much protein in your urine accompanied with excessive swelling over various parts of the body such as around the eyes and in the feet and ankles. Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT works by suppressing the immune system thereby reducing inflammation and swelling that occur in nephrotic syndrome. It reduces the protein in the urine and also helps in getting rid of the extra fluid, thereby relieving the swelling over different parts of the body. Driving:UNSAFE

Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as careful dose selection and regular monitoring of kidney function tests are advised while you are taking this medicine.

Liver:CAUTION

Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Omnacortil 40 Tablet DT helps treat inflammation, severe allergies, flare-ups of ongoing illnesses, and many other medical problems that require either reduction of inflammation or suppression of the immune system.
