Otomed Ear Drop is a medicine used to treat bacterial ear infections. It prevents the growth of the bacteria that cause infection in the ears. It also relieves the symptoms of inflammation such as pain, itchiness, and irritation.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.
05How It Works
Otomed Ear Drop is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin, Beclometasone and Clotrimazole which treat ear infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.

If you miss a dose of Otomed Ear Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning. To get relief from discomfort in the ear, apply a warm compress on the affected ear several times a day.

Your doctor has prescribed Otomed Ear Drop to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your ear, to avoid contamination.
Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven’t started to improve within two days of starting treatment, if they get worse during treatment or if you get another ear infection.
Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the medication.
