Pacip Eye Drop

Pacip Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed in the label.

Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.

Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery immediately after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of vision and may affect your ability to drive.

Treatment of Bacterial eye infections

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Pacip Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose which bacterial eye infection. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort in the eye.

If you miss a dose of Pacip Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Pacip Eye Drop must be used as per dose and duration suggested by the doctor.

If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.

Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

Pacip Eye Drop might cause blurring of vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how medicine affects you.

It is advisable to reduce screen time (by avoiding watching tv, or phone) and use sunglasses while going out into the sunlight.

In Treatment of Bacterial eye infections

Pacip Eye Drop is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. It stops the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching, or irritation in the eyes. Pacip Eye Drop also adds moisture to the eyes and reduces dryness and burning sensation. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning. Apply Pacip Eye Drop at least 2-3 times in a day or as prescribed by the doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
