Pacip Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose which bacterial eye infection. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort in the eye.
What If
If you miss a dose of Pacip Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
Drug Tips
Pacip Eye Drop must be used as per dose and duration suggested by the doctor.
If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
Pacip Eye Drop might cause blurring of vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how medicine affects you.
It is advisable to reduce screen time (by avoiding watching tv, or phone) and use sunglasses while going out into the sunlight.
