Pansoral Gel is a combination of two medicines is used to treat mouth ulcers. It reduces the pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation of the ulcers. It also inhibits the growth of bacteria and helps in the rapid healing of mouth ulcers.

Description
Pansoral Gel is strictly advised for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only on the affected areas of the mouth. It should not be used in excess amount and also avoid swallowing it. In case of accidental contact with your eyes, rinse it off with plenty of water.
This medicine is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms which you feel are caused by the medicine, let your doctor know. Let your doctor also know if you have any known allergy to any of the ingredients of this medicine.

Pansoral Gel is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Cetalkonium Chloride.Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Cetalkonium Chloride is an antiseptic that kills bacteria and fungi, preventing the mouth ulcer from getting infected. This speeds up healing of the ulcer.
What If
If you miss a dose of Pansoral Gel, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
Drug Tips
Pansoral Gel is used to treat painful mouth ulcers.
Using a clean finger to massage the gel onto the sore area, not more than once every 3 hours.
Avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying Pansoral Gel.
Avoid putting dentures or braces back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth.
Use a soft toothbrush after consulting your dentist.
Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps) which can make the pain and sting worse.
Do not smoke while using Pansoral Gel as it might cause some side effects.
Consult your doctor if your pain does not improve after using this medication for 7-14 days, or if your symptoms get worse.
