Primopol Oral Poliovirus Vaccine contains inactivated (killed) viruses of all three poliovirus types (I, II & III). It works by causing your body to produce its own protection (antibodies). In the event of infection, these antibodies prevent the spread of the virus to the brain and protect against paralysis.

All children need 4 doses of the polio vaccine as part of their routine vaccine schedule starting at 2 months through 6 years of age.
