Pyonil Gum Paint is strictly advised for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only to the affected area. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application of the medicine. In case of accidental contact with your eye, rinse it off with plenty of water.

This medicine is generally safe and does not usually cause any common side effects. However, if you experience any symptom which you think is caused by the medicine, let your doctor know.

Treatment of Inflammation of gums

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Apply it with a cotton swab. Do not swallow or rinse with water or eat for 10 minutes after applying.

Pyonil Gum Paint is a combination of five medicines: Potassium Iodide, Chloroform, Thymol, Iodine and Sodium Chloride. They work as antiseptics and help reduce soreness in gums and subsequent bleeding.

If you miss a dose of Pyonil Gum Paint, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Pyonil Gum Paint is used to reduce pain and swelling in the gums.

Along with using Pyonil Gum Paint maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice daily with a soft bristle brush. The hard bristles of a firm toothbrush can damage gums.

Inform your dentist immediately if you see any bleeding from the gums while brushing.

Quit smoking in order for the medicine to be more effective. Also, smoking is a major risk factor for developing gum disease.

Have regular dental checkups at intervals recommended by your dentist (this is normally at least once a year).
