Rotasiil Oral Vaccine is a medicine used in the prevention of diarrhea due to rotavirus. It is usually given as a 3-dose oral regimen, 4 weeks apart, beginning at 6 weeks of age.
Rotasiil Oral Vaccine can be given with or without food. It helps protect the baby from a kind of virus (rotavirus) that can cause bad diarrhea. Give it in the dose and direction as advised by the doctor.
Side effects are rare, however, some may experience mild irritability, cough, fever, loss of appetite, and vomiting. If the child experience any of such side effects and that does not go away with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. The doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms.

Rotasiil Oral Vaccine contains small amounts of rotavirus (a virus that causes diarrhoea). It works by provoking the the immune system to produce antibodies (proteins), without actually causing a disease. In the event of infection, these antibodies protect against protect against diarrhoea caused by rotavirus.

Rotasiil Oral Vaccine helps protect your baby from a kind of virus (rotavirus) that can cause bad diarrhea.
It is given to your baby by mouth.
The first dose is given when the baby is around 6 weeks old and the second dose, at least 4 weeks after the first dose (before 6 months old).
Inform your doctor immediately if your baby has severe vomiting, diarrhea, high fever, or severe stomach pain.
