RotaTeq Oral Vaccine is a medicine used in the prevention of diarrhea due to rotavirus. It is usually given as a 3-dose oral regimen, 4 weeks apart, beginning at 6 weeks of age.
RotaTeq Oral Vaccine can be given with or without food. It helps protect the baby from a kind of virus (rotavirus) that can cause bad diarrhea. Give it in the dose and direction as advised by the doctor.
Side effects are rare, however, some may experience mild irritability, cough, fever, loss of appetite, and vomiting. If the child experience any of such side effects and that does not go away with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. The doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. RotaTeq Oral Vaccine may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

RotaTeq Oral Vaccine contains small amounts of rotavirus (a virus that causes diarrhoea). It works by provoking the the immune system to produce antibodies (proteins), without actually causing a disease. In the event of infection, these antibodies protect against protect against diarrhoea caused by rotavirus.

RotaTeq Oral Vaccine helps to prevent diarrhea that is caused due to rotavirus infection. Rotavirus infects nearly all children in developed and developing countries at the age of around 3 to 5. Vaccines are therefore the most effective way to prevent rotavirus diarrhea. It will help you to stay well by preventing it from coming back. RotaTeq Oral Vaccine helps protect your baby from a kind of virus (rotavirus) that can cause bad diarrhea.
It is given to your baby by mouth.
The first dose is given when the baby is around 6 weeks old and the second dose, at least 4 weeks after the first dose (before 6 months old).
Inform your doctor immediately if your baby has severe vomiting, diarrhea, high fever, or severe stomach pain.
